The exceptional performing highlights of 2014 Parmigiani Shanghai Jazz Week start from today. Dee Dee Bridgewater, Anthony Strong, and Cui Jian, all these renowned names will light the night of the 2014 Parmigiani Shanghai Jazz Week during China’s National Day Holiday at the very side of Huangpu River, presenting a Jazz phenomenon to the metropolis of “Oriental Pearl” – Shanghai, making the first ever Parmigiani Jazz initiative in China a legendary and memorable one.

The composition and style of jazz music have changed quite a few times throughout the years with each performer's personal interpretation and improvisation, which is also one of the greatest appealing characters of the genre. During China’s National Day Holiday, Parmigiani’s complex of Jazz music now extends to Shanghai. Facing Huangpu River, the Pudong Riverside Financial Plaza is surrounded by skyscrapers in the very centre of the country’s financial hub Lujiazui. The arrival of 2014 Parmigiani Shanghai Jazz Week transforms the place into a paradise of Jazz music! Three consecutive days since Oct. 2nd, Jazz masters Dee Dee Bridgewater, Chinese Rock N’ Roll Godfather Cui Jian and jazz singer, pianist Anthony Strong will rock the outdoor stage and the city with their music. 

Meanwhile, to further complete the Parmigiani Jazz Week, the whole-town musical performances has been kicked off in the city’s most prestigious hotel lounges, jazz pubs and public areas of shopping malls and business districts since September 22.

Like an evangelist, He is now preaching the mesmerizing spirit of Jazz to Shanghai by debuting with his breath-taking musical performance at 2014 Parmigiani Shanghai Jazz Week.
