Parmigiani Fleurier Kalparisma

Parmigiani Fleurier Kalparisma

Following the success of the Kalparisma collection unveiled in 2009 – three rose gold models based on the brand's iconic tonneau shape – Parmigiani Fleurier is proud to present the new steel Kalparisma.

This piece combines the most sophisticated watch mechanisms and high-quality finishing with the utmost simplicity: clean, attractive lines; simple, accessible material.

The numerals have been redesigned to match the piece's elegant sobriety, and they contribute to illuminating the ivory or graphite guilloché "sunray" dial, which also features small seconds at 6 o'clock and the date  aperture.

The case is available in a  set execution with 46 diamonds on its sides, and the same  variant goes for the steel bracelet which, in addition to the broad range of Hermès leathers, is also available  with or without  setting.

The movement offers the finest haute horlogerie  finishing you would expect from Parmigiani Fleurier,  one which very few brands would apply to such a mechanism. The bridges are sandblasted,  circular-grained and "Côte de Genève" decorated, then bevelled by hand and, finally, rhodium-plated. The finishing applied to each wheel is the result of an extraordinary endeavour: bevelled, sunk and circular-grained on both faces, then gilded before cutting.

The rigour of the finishing applied to each component is above all the result of a unique symbiosis between the various centres of competence that make up the Parmigiani Fleurier manufacture. The movement and the  whole exterior of the new steel Kalparisma are created entirely in-house, right up to the indexes on the dial.

The excellence of the manufacture work that goes into each calibre is a reflection of the brand's core philosophy: each part, however simple, deserves the very best of watchmaking craftsmanship and the finest finishing touch.
