Smoke on the Water – Experiencing the Montreux Jazz Festival with Parmigiani Fleurier

The Montreux Jazz Festival is an institution where the greatest names of the jazz, rock, and funk electro scenes gather to perform. No doubt, Montreux makes for a sumptuous setting for this event.  Just this year, fans will be able to experience Zucchero, Massive Attack, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Iggy Pop, Deep Purple et Billy Idol – and many more. The Parmigiani booth is by Lake Leman, which is next to the principal venue. The view is breathtaking, standing along the tree lined shore, you’re invited to stare at the majestic lake surrounded by snowcapped mountains. It’s Switzerland epitomized. Happy guests flock to the terrace to enjoy these exceptional moments and happily participate in the photo call for Parmigiani. The setting is perfect, the atmosphere chic and relaxed, just like a Parmigiani timepiece.
 

The time is never to show-off. It is, however, the moment to truly enjoy the happiness of being there, in this idyllic setting, and in good company. As we were lulled by music, our hosts delighted us with a gourmet dinner, champagne, Swiss wines, starred desserts, and locally made absinthe from Val-de-Travers. Just as our desert was coming, the sunlight began to decline. The colors were softer and more delicate as the minutes passed by on my Parmigiani timepiece. The large orange balloon of Parmigiani slid along the coast suspended in the sky that is tinged with blue, pink, ocher. Everything is setting up like a ballet, just as musical as clockwork, perfectly synchronized. From the quality of the components, the fluidity born from their interaction the harmony. In music, in watchmaking, in life. This is the magic of the Montreux Jazz Festival. This is the magic of Parmigiani.
